About Kyle Welsh

I’m a technology executive, cybersecurity leader, former Navy nuclear operator, husband, father, traveler, and lifelong learner.

Currently, I serve as Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Seattle Bank, where I lead technology, information security, business intelligence, and digital transformation initiatives.

Professional Background

My career spans more than three decades in technology, cybersecurity, infrastructure, risk management, and leadership roles, primarily within the financial services industry.

Prior to joining Seattle Bank, I held technology and security leadership positions including Chief Information Security Officer and technology architecture roles. My professional interests include:

Military Service

I served six years in the United States Navy, including four years aboard a Trident-class ballistic missile submarine as an Engineering Laboratory Technician (ELT) and reactor plant mechanic.

The Navy taught me discipline, accountability, attention to detail, and systems thinking, lessons that continue to influence my approach to leadership and technology.

Outside of Work

When I’m not working, you’ll likely find me:

  • Traveling with my family
